‘Luckylots’ (Luckylots Limited – company registration number 05802987) is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This Privacy Policy sets out what personal information we collect and retain, how we use it, whom we may disclose it to, the security measures we take to protect that information and how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use of that information. It should be read in conjunction with the ‘Luckylots’ Terms & Conditions.
HOW WE OBTAIN AND USE INFORMATION
Registration Form
You will be required to register in order to use ‘Luckylots.co.uk’ (‘The Site’). In doing so we may require you to give us contact details, such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address and billing information such as credit card details or PayPal account details in order to participate in competitions facilitated by us. You can change this information after you have registered should you wish to do so. You can also choose not to provide certain information but this may limit your use of some of the features of The Site.
Contact and billing information provided by you
We may check the accuracy and validity of the credit card details, address and other information you provide to us on registration. Your registration for and use of our services is contingent upon those checks being successfully completed but remember registration itself is free.
We may use:-
- information you provide on the registration form for accounting purposes;
- contact information such as address, e-mail address, telephone number and fax number you provide to us for making contact with you when necessary (for example to respond to your queries or for other customer service issues);
- contact information to provide services that you have specified or to send you information about Luckylots and its services. You may opt out of receiving future mailings from Luckylots at anytime (See the delete/deactivate section below). If you receive newsletters or other information from us by e-mail then Luckylots will use the e-mail address you have provided to us to send that information.
You can change the e-mail address we hold for you on your "Personal Details" page when you are logged into Luckylots. You may opt out from receiving future newsletters and/or other information you have registered to receive from Lucky Lots at anytime (see the de-list/de-activate section below).
Your Preferences
You may be asked to specify whether you wish or do not wish to receive marketing, promotion or other communications from LuckyLots business with which we have established a commercial or marketing partnership or other third parties.
We use this information to determine what, if any, of the personal information we hold concerning you we are able to disclose outside LuckyLots and for what purpose.
Competitions Entered By You
We may retain information about the competitions you enter through LuckyLots including the entry fee paid, the prize won, if any, the method of payment and relevant contact and billing information. We may retain these details for the purposes of our records.
Information Gathered From Your Use of Luckylots
We may gather various types of information about your use of Luckylots. This information may include details of; browser type, operating system, IP address and internet domain through which you access the Site. The information may be produced by cookies which enable our systems to recognise your computer and allow us to see how you use our site. You should note that most browsers allow you to stop receiving cookies if you want to (please refer to your browser settings).
We may track the areas of the Site that you visit to see which site you access The Site from and which site you leave the Site to visit next.
Information Gathered From Surveys
We may occasionally carry out on-line surveys and may ask visitors for demographic information such as postcode, age or income levels. The surveys will be voluntary and there will be no necessity to enter them to gain access to The Site.
We will hold a new survey information you can contribute to and improve our service to you and others and will only supply it to others on an aggregated anonymous basis.
This information may be used to monitor assess and improve your and others experience of Luckylots.
Communications
We may retain e-mails, text messages and letters sent and may record telephone calls made to LuckyLots.
E-mails, letters, telephone calls and text messages may be used for training purposes and for testimonial purposes on LuckyLots and for the purpose of our records. If requested to do so we will remove any such testimonial from the Site within a reasonable period (see the de-list/de-activate section below). Any such testimonial will identify you only by your Luckylots user name.
RETENTION OF DATA
We will retain your personal information only as long as is necessary for the purposes to which you consent under this Privacy Policy and then will delete it from our system.
LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES
The Site contains links to other web-sites. Luckylots Limited is not responsible for the privacy practices or the contents of those web-sites.
SHARING OF INFORMATION
We do not sell, share, trade or giveaway personal information about you other than as described in this Privacy Policy.
Parties To The Competitions
Where you use Luckylots to enter into a competition with another company or person we may provide contact and billing information supplied by you or collected about you to that other party in order to facilitate the conclusion of the competition or correspondence concerning that competition.
Our Commercial and Marketing Partners
We may share data provided, gathered and tracked about you including information about competitions you have entered into but excluding your billing information with specific Commercial and Marketing Partners only if you have specifically opted to authorise this type of disclosure (i.e. have ticked the appropriate box when asked to do so on screen). The use made by them of your data will be governed by their own privacy and related terms. (If you need to change your options please see the de-list/de-activate section below.) We may also disclose anonymous aggregated demographic and profile data to our commercial and marketing partners without specific consent being given.
Other Third Parties
We may also disclose your contact information to selected third party suppliers of goods and services and advertisers who may use it to market to you their products and services, if you have opted to permit this kind of disclosure. If you need to change your options please see the delete/deactivate section below.
Sale of Business
If all or substantially all of the assets which LuckyLots uses to operate its business are acquired by a third party we may transfer personal data we then hold to that party.
Overseas Transfers
Luckylots Limited is the Controller (for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998) of the personal data we gather about you. Your data will be held and processed by us in accordance with our obligations under the UK’s data protection legislation (specifically the Data Protection Act 1998). Owing to the global nature of the Internet infrastructure, the information you provide may be transferred in transit to countries outside the European Economic Area that do not have similar protections in place regarding your data and its use as set out in this policy. However we have taken the steps outlined above to try and improve the security of your information. By submitting your information you consent to these transfers.
Disclosure for Legal Reasons
We may disclose your personal data if we are either compelled to do so by law or in response to a valid legally-compliant request by a law enforcement or government authority.
Security
We have security measures in place to protect our customer database and access to this database is restricted internally. However, it remains each member’s responsibility to protect against unauthorised access to their "My Account" details on the Luckylots site.
To ensure no one else uses The Site on that members machine and whilst it is "logged on" to the internet, to log off or exit from The Site when not using it, and to keep his/her password secret.
We use the PayPal secure system of payment.
YOUR CONSENT
By submitting your information you consent to the use of that information as set out in this policy. If we change our privacy policy we will post the changes and notice of them on this page, and may place notices on other pages on The Site so that you may be aware of the information we collect and how we use it at all times. Continued use of the service operated by Luckylots Limited will signify that you agree to any such changes.

If you do not in future want to receive e-mails from us or want to remove your registration details entirely from Lucky Lots:-
