LuckyLots (UK) Ltd: The Online Competition Website
Firstly we would like to introduce you to the people who have started this exciting new concept of an online competition website, which was set up because of a story that was in the news about a gentleman who couldn't sell his house so he decided he would hold a raffle online to achieve his goal of selling his house, which made news across the country and helped him successfully sell his house. So we decided to set up Luckylots - the online competition website, so people can not only sell houses they can also sell computer consoles, cars, dvd's, books, the list is endless via an online competition website.
I would now like to introduce you to the 2 people behind Luckylots. Firstly is an ex professional footballer who was the one who came up with the idea of an online competition website, his name is Daryl Sutch who spent nearly 14 years playing professional football for Norwich City F.C for 12 of those years, then short spells with South end United and Boston United.
Secondly is an ex fireman from the RAF Darren Young, who after leaving the RAF has set up his own Fire safety company called safety-in-mind. The two of them met 2 years ago while playing non-league football for Wroxham F.C and have remained good friends ever since and now business partners.
Luckylots is an online competition website which enables people to list items new and old to sell with a twist. The seller adds his/her item, sets the price they require for the goods and then the number of tickets they wish to sell to achieve their desired goal of selling their goods, for eg sony plastation 2 worth £100, 100 tickets at £1, once all tickets are sold a computerised draw is made and a winner is selected.
Luckylots - online competition website, also donates 10% of profits to two charities of Daryl and Darren's choice. Daryl's charity is the Bryan Gunn leukaemia appeal and Darren's is Macmillan Cancer Relief.
